30th AprilOur talented pupils represent school on the global cheerleading stage
The hard work has truly paid off for a group of exceptionally talented pupils who have traded the school gym for the world stage in a series of breathtaking international displays. There is an overwhelming sense of pride throughout the school community as two of our elite athletes, Polly and Laila, prepare to showcase their skills at the prestigious Cheerleading Worlds. Polly, who has recently been appointed as the Gym and Dance Prefect, joins Year 10 pupil Laila in representing the very best of the sport at an elite level. Their qualification for such a high-profile global event is an outstanding achievement and serves as a true testament to the endless hours of dedication, discipline, and passion they have poured into their training over the years.
The success at the international level extends across the age groups, highlighting the depth of talent present within our school. Younger pupils have also been making their mark across the Atlantic, with Year 7 pupils Eden and Tahlia recently returning from Orlando after competing at the All Star Worlds. For these rising stars, the opportunity to compete in such a renowned environment provided an incredible experience that will undoubtedly shape their athletic futures. The courage and skill displayed by these younger pupils in Florida have inspired their peers and demonstrated that there is no limit to what can be achieved with perseverance and a commitment to excellence.
Congratulations are in order for all four pupils; their journeys from our own sports facilities to the world stage in Orlando and beyond represent the pinnacle of youth sporting achievement.
