Secondary Transfer FAQs
Secondary Transfer Admissions 2026 - Frequently Asked Questions Post Allocation
Who is responsible for Admissions at the School?
The Governors are responsible for all school admissions. There is a Governor's Admissions Committee of which the Headteacher is a member.
Can I speak directly with the Headteacher, or arrange a meeting to discuss my application?
Prior to submission of applications, the Headteacher holds an Open Day and Open Morning when he is available to speak to individual families about the admissions process. He is unavailable to speak to parents once applications have been submitted and allocations made. This is because if he were to speak to one family, he would have to speak to all, and with the number of requests received, it would neither be reasonable nor feasible to do.
