HENDERSON, Tenn. — ¿ìèÊÓƵ will host its annual Missions Emphasis Days Sept. 9-10, dedicating two days to highlighting mission work and encouraging students to consider opportunities to serve communities around the world.

Throughout the event, visiting missionaries will speak in Bible classes, during chapel and at midweek assemblies of local congregations. The annual program is designed to expose the entire student body to mission work and encourage greater interest and involvement in missions.

This year's visiting missionaries include Daniel Gaines (Tanzania); Benjamin Bruce (Mexico); Lance Mosher (New Zealand and Global Media Outreach); Wayne and Kristi Parker (Cyprus); and Jason and Devan Pierce (Fiji).

Main sessions will be held in Brown-Kopel Ayers Auditorium, with chapel programs in Dryden Auditorium and special sessions for women in Gardner Center 101A.

Displays in the Brown-Kopel Ayers Auditorium lobby will highlight various mission efforts in the United States and abroad, giving students opportunities to learn more about ongoing work and ways to become involved.

Missions Emphasis Days is coordinated by FHU's Missions Studies program under the direction of Dr. Kevin L. Moore, director of missions studies. A schedule of the speakers is available here
