For everyone’s safety and to protect university property, the following items are prohibited:
- Candles or wax warmers
- Incense
- Fireworks or explosives
- Weapons of any kind
- Open-flame devices
- Appliances with exposed heating elements (hot plates, toaster ovens, space heaters, etc.)
- Halogen lamps
- Pets (except approved fish where permitted)
- Cinder blocks
- Double-sided foam tape or adhesives that damage walls
- Nails, screws, or wall anchors
- Open food containers during move-in (to help prevent pests)
